The Honeywood Schoolhouse Artist Retreat

Self-Directed Residency Application Form

Self-Directed Performance Residencies

Short-term studio and overnight accommodations for performing artists and creatives who want to focus on their work in a distraction-free environment.

This type of residency is also ideal for individuals conducting research, working to meet a deadline, collaborating with others, or who require temporary workspace.

The Honeywood Schoolhouse is especially good for performing artists who need a movement friendly space with a good floor, chalkboards and privacy.

Dramaturgical Residencies

Dramaturgical residencies include the support of Erika Batdorf who has over 40 years of experience supporting performers of all kinds to create original work.

Erika can be brought on to help get you started, give you feedback on your in-process work or help you clean up something well on its way.

Erika’s availability is very limited. To apply for a dramaturgical residency, please email her directly at erika@batdorf.org.
