Spent a long time just dancing in response to Elizabeth Langley encouraging me to work with the muscles more… she saw that I am working more from nerve and breath than muscle- and although that’s great and makes for a whole body practice… I was resisting letting my BODY actual move… she encouraged me to just dance the music for awhile, as I successfully no longer ride the music- almost to an extreme… the volume of my sensory life is louder… so today I just danced and really focused on core (muscle not viscera), spine and legs… VERY hard to hold internal viscera while doing this!
But just as I have been practicing holding internal viscera with complex singing not just sounding…. Time to begin this juggling- which will take a very, very long time! The muscular skeletal system AND listening to the music really are lhard to hold with blood, breath, gravity… was able to work with skin and breath somewhat... must remember to go for simpler- pain/pleasure but I just don’t have the capacity to hold them all right now… so must go back to really basic juggling WITH MUSCULAR SKELETAL- but with rigour and specificity! After, I just enjoy dancing again for awhile too!
